2010 as the Year of the Tiger

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

As the American economy continues to reveal its instability, as unshakable businesses are in fact shaken, and as world peace seems more and more to be a lofty figment of the dreamers’ imaginations we stand at the doorstep of a new decade. We are just a few short days away from entering the second decade of the 21st century.

The impending year 2010 is the Year of the Tiger as the 3rd position on the Chinese zodiacal calendar. The Tiger symbolizes traits such as bravery, willingness to accept challenge, and competitiveness. Traits that are valuable and necessary in life and business, especially so in uncertain times.

As the new year approaches it has always been customary to make resolutions and re-dedicate ourselves to positive change in our lives. The Tiger motto is “I Win.” Given the state of affairs, the Chinese zodiacal symbology is remarkably fitting. It would be wise to accept the symbolism and decide to learn, grow, prosper and flourish in the new year.

A few words of inspiration from us here at Lithyem to you…

Become larger than any problem that you might face. Educate yourself and step forward knowing the correct path is under foot. Be the eye of the storm. Remain calm and decisively pounce on challenges as they arise. Grow not despite of obstacles but by meeting them with your unwavering focus. Protect the ones you love fiercely. Give generously and you will receive with abundance. Collaborate rather than compete. Act Now.

We are committed to making 2010 a record breaking year for Lithyem Industries and urge you to do the same. All things start with a thought, think about it.

Wishing you a healthy, happy and prosperous new year in 2010!

Note: We would like to thank our long-time strategic partners at Ideas On Purpose for bringing the Year of the Tiger to our attention. Each year we receive a beautifully illustrated poster from them and are continually thankful for our work together.
